MORGAN CO. – The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Saturday night on State Road 67.
Authorities responded to the intersection of State Road 67 and Bradford Woods Road just before 10 p.m., according to the Morgan County Coroner’s Office.
Investigators reported that a motorcycle struck a deer at the intersection. The collision resulted in the death of the motorcycle’s passenger, while the driver was left in critical condition. The Department of Transportation confirmed that a medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene.
As a result of the incident, the northbound lanes of State Road 67 were closed between Sycamore Lane and Milhon Road to allow officials to clean up and investigate the crash.
