City of Washington to hold public hearing on Community Crossings Grant appropriations

WASHINGTON – The City of Washington will host a public hearing on Monday, July 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, located at 200 Harned Avenue.

The primary agenda item for the hearing will be a discussion of Ordinance No. 13-2025, which proposes additional appropriations. These appropriations are specifically related to the Community Crossings Matching Grant program, a state initiative that provides funding for local road and bridge projects.

Immediately following the conclusion of the public hearing, the regular meetings of both the Washington Common Council and the Board of Public Works & Safety will convene. Residents are encouraged to attend the public hearing to voice their opinions and learn more about the proposed appropriations and their impact on the community.
