SCOTT CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc., is scheduled to close State Road 203 just north of Lexington on or after Monday, August 4, to complete a small structure replacement project in Scott County.
The closure will take place between County Road 200 South and North Getty Road, located approximately one mile north of State Road 356. State Road 203 is expected to reopen in early September, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows State Road 362 to State Road 3 to S.R. 356.
This project is part of a contract awarded to E&B Paving in September 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
