SULLIVAN CO.– The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 48 in Sullivan County.
Beginning on or around Tuesday, July 29, crews will close State Road 48 near Shelburn. This closure will occur over Kettle Creek between North Washington Avenue and North County Road 125 East.
This road closure is for a bridge replacement project. This project is expected to last through the beginning of November, pending the weather conditions.
The official detour for this project is U.S. 41 to State Road 246 to State Road 159. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
