INDIANA – Over 67,000 cases of Power Stick antiperspirant deodorant are being recalled nationwide due to concerns over cGMP deviations, according to an enforcement report released by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The voluntary recall was initiated by A.P. Deauville, the Easton, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer, on July 10.

The recall targets explicitly three varieties of Power Stick Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant:
- Power Stick for Her Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant (scented “power fresh”)
- Power Stick Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant (scented “spring fresh”)
- Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant
These affected products were shipped to retailers nationwide, including Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Amazon.
The FDA enforcement report indicates that the recall was triggered by “cGMP deviations,” referring to issues related to Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations, which the FDA oversees to ensure product quality and safety. A.P. Deauville states on its website that its antiperspirant deodorants are manufactured at its “FDA-regulated” factory in Pennsylvania.
