BLOOMINGTON – The Monroe County Democratic Party (MCDP) is actively seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join its committees and assist with various initiatives in the coming months. As the party expands its capacity, more opportunities for engagement will emerge.

Committee Opportunities:
- Fundraising Committee: Individuals with or without prior experience in fundraising campaigns are welcome. The party emphasizes the critical need to significantly boost fundraising efforts to secure necessary resources for future endeavors.
- Events and Outreach Committee: Members of this committee will help plan, organize, and execute party events throughout the year. This includes both standalone outreach events and collaborative initiatives with other community organizations and neighboring counties.
Farmers Market Outreach:
The Monroe County Democrats maintain a prominent booth in the Information Alley of the Bloomington Community Farmers Market every week. This ongoing effort aims to welcome new individuals into the party and, crucially, to reconnect with and re-energize existing Democrats. Volunteers are invited to assist with staffing this booth.
