My Fellow Democrats,

I’m honored to announce my candidacy for Chair of your Monroe County Democratic Party.

Over the past several months, we have built something powerful together. We’ve organized rallies that brought our community into the streets, hosted events that connected neighbors, launched mutual aid efforts that meet real needs, and started new and creative outreach initiatives that are bringing fresh voices into our movement. We’re not just talking about change; we’re making it happen.

We’ve welcomed hundreds of new people into our work, and there’s a growing sense of energy and purpose in everything we do. People are showing up because they believe in what we’re building – something inclusive, responsive, and rooted in justice.

We know the fight isn’t easy. We’re on the front lines, defending our rights and liberties from the relentless attacks coming from the Statehouse and the White House. But we are ready. We are united. And we are not backing down.

As Vice Chair, I’ve seen what we can accomplish when we come together. I’m excited to keep that momentum going and continue this work, side by side with all of you.

Let’s keep organizing. Let’s keep growing. Let’s keep fighting for a Monroe County that works for everyone.

In Solidarity,

Chrissie Geels
