BEDFORD— The Lawrence County Board of Commissioners will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the Lawrence County Courthouse. The agenda includes infrastructure discussions, department reports, and administrative approvals.
Commissioners will consider a proposed settlement counteroffer related to Bridge #176 on Slaughter House Road, with input from Brayden Dowling of Butler, Fairman & Seufert (BF&S), an engineering and consulting firm frequently contracted for public works projects across Indiana.
In other business, the board will review painting quotes for updates to the Recorder’s Office, address routine matters including claims and payroll approvals, and consider appointments and unfinished business.
Department heads scheduled to present reports include:
- Brian Sowder, Highway Department
- Valerie Luchauer, Emergency Management
- Sheriff Greg Day, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department
The meeting will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by approval of minutes from the July 1 session. The meeting is open to the public and will conclude after any remaining old business is addressed.
