MONROE COUNTY- On Thursday, July 10, at 05:40 AM, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle vs farm tractor in the area of West State Road 45 and S. Duncan Road. Upon arrival, they were told that the 2004 Black Dodge Ram rear-ended the Massey Ferguson farm tractor. The tractor driver, a 62-year-old Bloomington man, was initially pinned and unable to move. He was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital via Lifeline ambulance for the injuries sustained because of the collision. Monroe County Fire Protection District was treating the driver of the truck for his injuries.

The truck driver, Jared Hash, 31, Bloomington, was transported by Deputies to the hospital for further investigation. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office crash reconstructionist was contacted due to the severity of the crash and injuries.
This crash is under investigation. The roadway was closed from 05:40 AM until 8:20 AM.
Deputies arrested Jared Hash for Operating While Intoxicated, resulting in serious bodily injury and a
previous conviction, a level 4 felony.
Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
