LAWRENCE COUNTY- The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission will meet July 10 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in room 28 of the Lawrence County courthouse.

The City of Mitchell and the Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission are constructing a 50,000-square-foot shell building at the Mitchell Industrial Park to attract new manufacturing businesses. Funded through TIF dollars, the project addresses a regional shortage of move-in-ready industrial space and offers expansion potential up to 200,000 square feet. The steel structure will include 32-foot ceilings, loading docks, and electric service.
