SHOALS – The planned demolition of a building located at 232 Main Street in Shoals has been temporarily delayed. Town officials announced that the building requires further inspection by a structural engineer, which is scheduled for Friday.
This necessary precaution will result in a delay to the project. However, town officials emphasize that this step is crucial to ensure public safety and protect adjacent buildings.
Main Street will remain closed for the time being.
The public is strictly prohibited from entering the work zone; trespassers will be dealt with accordingly.
