BEDFORD – Hoosier Hills Credit Union has once again earned a spot on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2025, marking the third consecutive year the Credit Union has received this distinguished honor.
Forbes presents the recognition in collaboration with Statista Inc., a global leader in data analytics and industry rankings. The 2025 rankings were officially announced on June 17 and are available on the Forbes website.
As trusted financial institutions, credit unions play a vital role in supporting local economies and serving the unique financial needs of their communities. America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2025 list highlights those organizations that Members value most, based on a combination of direct feedback and online reviews.
The rankings are based on two primary data sources:
Independent Survey: Approximately 26,000 U.S. consumers were surveyed. Participants were asked to identify the credit unions where they hold checking or savings accounts and to rate them across six key areas: Trust, terms and conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services, Customer Service, and Financial Advice.
Online Sentiment Analysis: Publicly available online reviews and ratings were analyzed using a sentiment-based approach to assess Member satisfaction further. Each credit union’s final score was determined by a weighted system—80% based on survey feedback and 20% on online reviews. In each state, the credit union with the highest combined score earned the top spot.
