Pavement work continues to State Road 441/Willow Street in Vincennes

KNOX COUNTY– The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a reopening and additional closure on State Road 441/Willow Street in Vincennes.

Beginning on or around Wednesday, June 18, crews will reopen State Road 441/Willow Street between 6^th Street and 9^th Street. This opening follows milling and concrete inspection work.

Following the reopening between 6^th Street and 9^th Street, crews will close State Road 441/Willow Street between 9^th Street and the southern edge of Greenlawn Cemetery for continued milling and inspection work.

This road closure is part of a larger project to repave State Road 441 in Vincennes. Depending on the weather, this portion of the project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert in and near work zones.
