BEDFORD — The Bedford Housing Authority has announced it will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
Juneteenth, recognized as a federal holiday, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. The Housing Authority encourages the community to reflect on the significance of this day in American history.
Regular operations will resume on the following business day. Residents are encouraged to contact the Housing Authority before the closure date for questions or assistance.
