BEDFORD — The Bedford Parks Department will have the concession stand open and ready to serve during the highly anticipated Touch-A-Truck event at Murray Park on Wednesday, June 11. The event, organized by the Bedford Public Library, is part of the library’s Summer Discovery series and promises a hands-on experience for families and children of all ages.
The concession stand will operate on a cash-only basis, offering a full menu of classic favorites including pizza by the slice, nachos, popcorn, hot dogs, bottled drinks, candy, and ice cream. Entire pizzas will also be available for purchase, as well as specialty items like Hometown Scoops and novelty ice cream treats. Prices range from $0.50 for popsicles to $8.00 for a whole pizza, ensuring there are options for every appetite and budget.
The Touch-A-Truck event will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Murray Park and will give children a unique opportunity to explore real vehicles up close and meet the people who operate them.
Officials from the Parks Department and the Bedford Public Library are encouraging families to come out, enjoy the interactive exhibits, and grab a bite to eat while soaking up the summer fun.
