NASHVILLE — Nashville Police Department officers have arrested a man who they say battered a child at a McDonald’s restaurant.
According to a press release from the Nashville Police Department, on Thursday, June 6, officers were called to the McDonald’s located at 501 State Road 46 East on a report of an attempted child abduction.
When officers arrived, they quickly located the suspect nearby. Police say the suspect, Justin Gadson, was taken into custody on preliminary charges of battery against a person less than 14 years old and criminal confinement.
Gadson was remanded into the custody of the Brown County Jail without further incident, according to police.
Under the law, all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
