Alzheimer’s Association to host dementia caregiver support group in Seymour

SEYMOUR – The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana will host a Dementia Caregiver Support Group on the second and fourth Monday of each month. The sessions will run from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Seymour Community Center, located at 107 South Chestnut Street, Seymour, IN 47274.

These support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, offer a safe place for people living with dementia and their care partners to build a support system with others who understand. Participants can expect to develop a support system, exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions, talk through issues and ways of coping, share feelings, needs, and concerns, and learn about community resources.
