WASHINGTON – A 21-year-old Jasper man, Jonathan Crew, a suspect in an armed robbery investigation in Vincennes, was taken into custody Friday during a traffic stop conducted by Washington Police officers and Daviess County deputies.
During the stop, multiple individuals were detained without incident. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded three handguns, one of which was confirmed to be stolen.
Crew was arrested on preliminary charges of unlawful carrying of a handgun and driving while suspended.
The investigation into the Vincennes armed robbery is ongoing and being conducted by the Vincennes Police Department.
