Nezmdi baby swings recalled due to suffocation and injury risks

INDIANA—Nezmdi baby swings, sold online through Amazon, have been recalled nationwide due to multiple safety hazards, including a risk of suffocation and serious injury or death to infants. This recall, announced on May 22, 2025, affects approximately 1,420 units.

The recall was initiated because the swings were marketed for infant sleep and possessed an incline angle greater than 10 degrees, violating the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. Additionally, the swings do not meet mandatory warning requirements outlined in swing regulations.

Further concerns stem from the remote control included with the swings. It contains a lithium coin battery but lacks the necessary warnings and instructions for consumer products containing button cell and coin batteries, as mandated by Reese’s Law.

Consumers are strongly advised to immediately stop using the Nezmdi baby swings. Those who own one of these recalled swings should contact Nezmdi for a refund.
