NEW ALBANY – New Albany conquered Bedford North Lawrence 153-158 during boys high school golf action on the front nine at Valley View on Tuesday.
Evan Tillett paced the Stars with a 1-over 37 while Tyler Bellush posted a solid 38.
“We hit the ball pretty well,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “We hit a lot of greens but just couldn’t get putts to fall. Tyler and Evan were both really consistent and did a good job of staying away from the big numbers.”
Coleson Stiles carded a 40 while Hudson Martin capped the BNL scoring with 43.
New Albany’s Rossi Hamilton was the medalist with a 2-under 34.
The Stars will visit Bloomington South on Thursday.
