BARTHOLOMEW CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor 5 Star Company, Inc., is scheduled to begin a small structure replacement project on State Road 46 over Fishers Fork on or after Monday, May 19, in Bartholomew County.
Work will take place between South County Road 450 East and South County Road 525 East, just east of U.S. 31. Weather permitting, it is expected to be completed in late July. Temporary traffic signals will be used while work is in progress.
This work is part of a $1.7 million contract awarded to 5 Star in December 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
