LAWRENCE CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 60 in Lawrence County.
The daily road closures on State Road 60 near Mitchell will occur on Monday, May 19, near Spring Mill State Park.
Daily road closures will allow for two culvert replacement projects to be performed. Work will occur between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily. Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 37 to State Road 56. Local traffic, excluding semi tractor trailers, will have access during this project. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
