FORT WAYNE—The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) will award Action Over Silence, End Veteran Suicide a grant of $175,000 during an upcoming presentation on Tuesday, May 14 at 11:30 a.m. CONNECT Allen Co. at 201 East Rudisill Boulevard, Lower Level in Fort Wayne.

This funding is part of the IDVA Community Challenge, which supports initiatives that positively impact the local veteran community. Join us as IDVA Director Jake Adams presents the big check.
Action Over Silence, End Veteran Suicide will utilize the grant to create a comprehensive, community-driven suicide prevention plan. The funding will support initiatives focused on developing programs that address the unique challenges faced by the veteran community. The Community Challenge grant program empowers community choice and provides seed funds to develop self-sustaining community-led suicide prevention measures.
