MITCHELL – South Lawrence Water has issued a boil water advisory for Meridian Road, effective immediately until further notice.
The advisory results from a contractor hitting one of the water lines in the area. According to a notification released by South Lawrence Water at 3:36 p.m. today, crews are working on-site to make the necessary repairs.
Residents on Meridian Road are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and other consumption until South Lawrence Water lifts the boil order.
The utility will update residents when the water is safe for consumption without boiling.
