INDIANA – Residents should be prepared this upcoming week, as all NOAA weather radios will be off the air beginning on Monday, April 28th.
This is all part of a crucial internal computer system upgrade for the National Weather Service. Upgrades like these are part of a national rotation schedule for all NWS offices and cannot be postponed.
All NWR transmitters in the region will be down from Monday, April 28th, through at least Wednesday, April 30th. If problems occur, the upgrade could extend into the end of the week.

- Bloomington. WXM – 162.450 78
- Putnamville. WXK – 162.400 72
- Monticello. WXK – 162.475 74
- Georgia. WWG – 162.500 72
- Edwardsport. WWG – 162.425 83
- Newport. KZZ – 162.425 27
- Seymour. WWG – 162.425 73
- Muncie. KJY – 162.425 93
