Kelsie E. Pierce, 89 of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford.
He was born in Fayetteville on March 27, 1936, to Charles and Gladys (Eagan) Pierce. Kelsie was a self-employed Logger for many years. Kelsie married Janet Dietz, and she survives.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Pierce of Bedford, two sons, Greg Pierce of Bedford, and Byron Ira of Oolitic, five grandchildren, Les-Paul Couch, Taylor Ira, Byron Ira, Jr., Melissa Cody, and Damian Chapman, four great grandchildren, Krue, Kylie, and Jamison Miles Cody, Kadance Kylie Cody; one sister, Shirley Ellison, and one brother, Ronnie Pierce.
Kelsie was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Melanie Burner, one son, Kevin Pierce, one granddaughter, Kylie, four brothers, Dale Pierce, Wayne Pierce, Harold Pierce, Forest “Bud” Pierce, and one sister, Frances Hedge.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Cresthaven Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
