Charles ‘Dave’ David Lyons, 82, of Bedford, passed away on April 20, 2025, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
He was born in Bedford on July 10, 1942, to Hovie and Mildred (Maick) Lyons. Dave was a US Air Force veteran. He formerly owned the theater in Bedford and managed Big Foot gas stations in Bedford. Dave married Lana Magers, and she passed away before him.
Survivors include three children, Tara (Gary) Almond of Bedford, Lane (Bobbette) Magers of Bedford, and Lynn (Marty) Jenkins of Spring City, Tennessee, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one sister, Zona (Jack) Mills of Georgia, and one brother, Larry Lyons of Bedford.
David was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lana Magers, two brothers, Fred Lyons, and Carl Lyons and wife Sharon.
Cremation was chosen.
