StoneGate Arts & Education Center celebrates Public Health Week with podcast series

BEDFORD – StoneGate Arts & Education Center, in collaboration with the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington, has created a series of podcasts to celebrate Public Health Week.

The podcasts are available on the Stone Gate Arts & Education YouTube Channel.  

The series covers a range of important public health topics, including:

  • What is Public Health? Why is it important? featuring Dr. Priscilla Barnes with the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington.  
  • Mental Health – Why is it important? Why does it matter? featuring Dr. John Keesler and Graduate Students with the IU School of Social Work.  
  • Lawrence County Health Department – A resource for the community.  
  • Literacy – the “relaunching” of SOAR with more added, featuring Debbie Beeler and Cathy Bullington.  
  • School Health Coordinator – Featuring: Meagan Shipley.
