GIBSON CO. – Authorities have arrested a 41-year-old man in connection with a deadly traffic collision that occurred in January, claiming the life of a Vincennes woman.
Justin N. Hill was taken into custody by Gibson County Sheriff’s deputies at a rural residence in Patoka on a warrant for driving under the influence of drugs, causing death and two counts of causing serious bodily injury under the influence of a narcotic drug.

The arrest stems from a crash on January 24th at US 41 and Old US 41 intersection. According to investigators, Hill was driving a vehicle that allegedly failed to yield at the intersection, resulting in a collision with a car traveling southbound.
The driver of the other vehicle, identified as Amy Wilson of Vincennes, sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
Following the incident, toxicology results from Hill’s blood samples reportedly came back positive for methamphetamine.
Hill is now being held in the Gibson County Jail on a court-set bond of $50,000 cash only. His initial hearing is scheduled for April 28 at 9 a.m. in Gibson Superior Court.
