Officers responded to a burglary report on Wednesday in the 2200 block of Ohio Avenue. The homeowner, who was not present at the time, reported that electronics and a shotgun had been stolen. Video surveillance from the scene showed a suspect wearing distinctive pink joggers, a pink sweatshirt, and a black coat.

Later that day, police received a call regarding a person trespassing in the 300 block of Cleveland Street, with the description matching the suspect seen in the burglary video. Upon arrival, officers located Harden wearing the described pink clothing. He was taken into custody after a brief attempt to flee. During the arrest, officers discovered marijuana and a smoking pipe near him.

Following Harden’s arrest, police recovered all of the stolen items. Further investigation led officers to Phillip Brantley, who was believed to have the stolen shotgun.
