WASHINGTON – A Vincennes man was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired (OWI) after being stopped for speeding in Daviess County on Saturday, March 29th.
Indiana State Trooper Levi Hupp observed a vehicle speeding on U.S. 50 near Washington and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, 37-year-old Eric Lady, displayed visible signs of impairment. He was subsequently transported to the Daviess County Jail for a chemical test.
Lady was arrested and is being held on bond. He faces a Class A misdemeanor charge of OWI. Trooper Beau Brummett assisted in the arrest.
All criminal defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
