MONROE/MORGAN CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Hummel Electric plans to begin signage installation along I-69 on or after Tuesday, February 11, in Monroe and Morgan Counties.


Crews will conduct lane closures on I-69 in two locations to complete signage installation work. The lane closures are expected to be in place through early June, weather permitting, and are currently scheduled as follows:
- On or after Tuesday, February 11: The left lane and left shoulder of southbound I-69 will close between Big Bend Road (MM 133) and Fox Hollow Road (MM 128) in Monroe and Morgan Counties.
- On or after Tuesday, February 11: The right lane of northbound I-69 will close between West Fullerton Pike (MM 116) and West Vernal Pike (MM 119) in Monroe County. Exit 117 and 118 will remain open.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
