BEDFORD – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a public meeting on March 4th at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the ongoing engineering feasibility study for the Williams Dam.

The meeting will be held at Brinegar Hall in the Stone Gate Arts & Education Center at 931 15th Street in Bedford.
DNR staff will share updates on the study’s scope of work, goals, and preliminary findings. The study evaluates the dam’s future on the East Fork of the White River in Williams, exploring the feasibility of full, partial, or no dam removal.
The study aims to determine the potential impacts of each option and develop comparative plans and cost estimates. The public is encouraged to attend.
