NORMAN – A shooting incident in Norman on Thursday night left a 76-year-old man dead and another person injured, according to Jackson County Sheriff’s Department officials.
Larry Fox, 76, was pronounced dead at the scene after deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 11000 block of West 325 North around 9 p.m. A second victim, a 28-year-old Norman resident, sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and was transported to the hospital.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident and have asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department at 812-358-2141.
