Marilyn A. Johnson, 89, of Bedford, passed away on April 11, 2026, at Westview Nursing
and Rehabilitation in Bedford.
Born May 19, 1936, in Bedford, she was the daughter of William Bud and Marie (McCain) Jackson. She married Russell Johnson on July 11, 1980, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Todd Johnson; two sisters, Janet Jones and Nedra Wade; and one grandson, Caleb Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell, her parents, and a sister, Linda Giles.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in the Leatherwood Christian Church Cemetery, with Sherman Thomas officiating.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for palliative care.
