Margaret L. Goble, 82, of Seymour, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Lutheran Community Home.
She was born on November 30, 1943, and on April 24, 1968, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, she married William Goble, who preceded her in death in 2012.
Margaret was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. She found great joy in baking cakes and making Christmas candy and was well known for her delicious cheesecake, which was a favorite among family and friends. She had a love for gardening, especially tending to her flowers, and enjoyed playing cards and reading.
More than anything, Margaret treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories through her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Ernie (Brenda) Goble, David (Rikki) Goble, Curt (Connie) Burns, and Carol (Mike) McIntosh; grandchildren, Brandy (Clint) Robinson, Josh Burns, and Jessica Burns; great-grandchildren, Rylee Johnson and Waylon Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Goble.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, 344 Vehslage Road in Seymour, Indiana, with Rev. Dr. Ralph Blomenberg officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Scotty Wessel and Jon Pace at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes in Seymour.
