Congresswoman Erin Houchin returns over $1 million to IN-09 constituents in 2026

INDIANA— Congresswoman Erin Houchin (IN-09) announced that her office has returned more than $1 million to constituents across Indiana’s Ninth District in 2026 alone, bringing the total to $1,111,111.41 so far this year. Since taking office in 2023, Houchin’s office has secured a total of $7,648,744.16 for constituents through casework assistance.

“Serving constituents in Indiana’s Ninth District means delivering real results when it matters most,” said Congresswoman Houchin. “Whether it’s cutting through federal red tape, resolving issues with federal agencies, or helping families access the benefits they are owed, my office is committed to making government work for the people we serve. We will continue fighting to ensure every constituent gets the answers and support they deserve.”

Houchin’s office regularly assists constituents with issues involving federal agencies, including the Social Security Administration, IRS, Department of Veterans Affairs, and more.
