Otis Park Men’s Club returns April 2: A welcoming league for golfers of all skill levels

BEDFORD – Golf season is right around the corner, and the Otis Park Men’s Club is inviting local players to get involved in one of the most welcoming and enjoyable leagues in the area.

The 2026 season officially tees off on Thursday, April 2nd, with weekly 9-hole team games continuing every Thursday through October. Tee times begin at 5:00 PM, shifting to 5:30 PM later in the season as daylight allows.

What makes the Otis Park Men’s Club stand out is its balance of friendly competition and accessibility. Each week, teams are automatically created and evenly balanced based on handicaps, ensuring that players of all skill levels—from beginners to seasoned golfers—have a fair shot at competing and contributing.

Beyond the weekly games, members can take part in several season-long competitions, including a Stableford Points Race (based on your best 10 rounds), a Ryder Cup-style team competition, and a dramatic Sudden Death Shootout to cap off the season.

The cost to join is simple and affordable:

  • $25 annual membership
  • $10 weekly game entry fee

Each Thursday, players compete not only for team wins, but also for additional prizes such as skins and closest-to-the-pin, with payouts distributed immediately after the round.

For those who’ve been thinking about joining but haven’t taken the first step, the Men’s Club makes it easy. New players are welcome at any time—just arrive by 4:30 PM on your first Thursday to get set up and added to the system.

Returning players should note a new requirement this season: mandatory early check-in by Wednesday at 2:00 PM to secure tee times. Check-ins are handled through the group’s WhatsApp, with a text option also available.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your game, meet new people, or simply enjoy a consistent weekly round in a relaxed and competitive environment, the Otis Park Men’s Club offers a great way to be part of the local golf community.
