Overnight single lane closures planned on I-65 in Clark and Scott counties

CLARK/SCOTT COUNTY – Overnight single lane closures are scheduled to begin on I-65 as part of the Safer Drive 65 project in Clark and Scott counties on or after Sunday, March 29.

Motorists can expect single lane closures on both northbound and southbound I-65 between mile marker 16 near Memphis and mile marker 24 near County Line Road from approximately 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through mid-April, weather permitting. At least one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction during this time.

During the closures, crews will complete the installation of the temporary barrier wall and striping.

The Safer Drive 65 project will improve approximately 13 miles of I-65 between Blue Lick Road in Clark County and S.R. 56 in Scott County. The project includes adding travel lanes, reconstructing pavement, and upgrading key infrastructure along the corridor.

Additional information about the project can be found here.
