William “Bill” Dale Prince 66, of Springville died Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born October 31, 1959, in Bedford, IN, Bill was the son of Robert Dale and Betty Jane (Murphy) Prince. He married Barbara “Barb” Dotson on August 18, 2000, and she survives. Bill was a veteran of the USMC, and a member of the House of Prayer Church in Ellettsville. He worked for Hoosier Republic as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife Barb of Springville and four grandchildren: Mykalie Hall, Jacob Hall, Emmaleigh Hall, Sophia Hall; one sister, Pattianne Brock; and her husband Merle of Broken Arrow, OK; one brother, Robert Douglas Prince; and his wife Nancy of Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three stepchildren: William Rollie Hall, Jeremy Christopher Hall, and Lydia Nicole Hall.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Merle Brock officiating. Military rites will be accorded by members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33. Burial will follow in the Robertson Cemetery in the Hoosier National Forest. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
