MUNCIE – On March 20, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Master Trooper Ryan Davis conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of US 35 and Memorial Drive after observing an equipment violation on a blue Nissan Murano.Â
Upon initiating a traffic stop, the driver was identified as Michael J. Love, a 62-year-old male from Indianapolis. During the course of the investigation, Trooper Davis conducted a check of Love’s driving status, which revealed that he was a Habitual Traffic Violator (HTV).
Further investigation determined that Love also had active arrest warrants out of Henry and Hancock County. Â
Love was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Delaware County Jail, where he was incarcerated on the outstanding warrants and operating while being a habitual traffic violator.Â
All criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
