Beverly Jean Miller, 89, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.
Born August 25, 1936, in Seymour, she was thedaughter of Loyd and Jean (Steinkamp) Moren. She married Wayne Miller on November 24, 1965, in Seymour, and he preceded her in death.
Beverly was a devoted member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Beta Epsilon Lambda of Chi Omega. She retired from Home Federal Savings Bank and also worked at Patty’s Hallmark and Traderbaker’s. She enjoyed spending time reading, was an avid fan of Indiana University women’s basketball, and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and family.
Those left to cherish Beverly’s memory include her children, Michael Miller and Michelle (Kyle) Christopher; her beloved grandchildren, Christian (Andrea) Miller, Chandler Miller, Camrann Miller, Jacob (Katie) Christopher, and Braden Christopher; her great-grandchildren, Elias Miller, Emersyn Miller, Oliver Miller, and Evelyn Christopher; and her brother, Richard Moren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Miller; her parents, Loyd and Jean Moren; her sister, Ann Brown; her sister-in-law, Barb Moren; and her brother-in-law, Ron Brown.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 504 North Walnut Street, Seymour, Indiana 47274, with Rev. Andrew J. Currao officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
