Friday night targeted patrol nets four drug related arrest

FORT WAYNE – During a focused patrol initiative on Friday night, March 6, 2026, Troopers from the Fort Wayne Post dedicated approximately four hours to conducting traffic enforcement and identifying criminal activity throughout Fort Wayne. The operation began with targeted efforts in the area of Goshen Road and Coliseum Boulevard. As the detail progressed, patrol coverage expanded into additional neighborhoods across the city.

Despite challenging weather conditions, the proactive enforcement effort resulted in dozens of traffic warnings and twelve traffic-related arrests. Notably, Troopers’ pro-active approach also led to four drug-related arrests, reflecting their commitment to enhancing roadway safety and disrupting criminal activity.

Fort Wayne District Commander, Lt. Corey Culler stated, “Our Troopers continue to demonstrate the value of proactive policing. Their dedication, even in difficult conditions, directly contributes to safer streets and a safer community for everyone.”

Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent until proven guilty through a fair and due legal process. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
