JASPER — A massive, multi-agency narcotics investigation culminated this week in a coordinated round-up of eleven individuals across two states, according to Dubois County Prosecutor Beth Schroeder.

The operation, dubbed Operation: Snow White, was the result of months of intensive investigative work into the illegal distribution of narcotics within Dubois County. The crackdown involved the Jasper City Police Department, the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, the Huntingburg Police Department, and the Indiana State Police.
Arrest warrants were executed simultaneously at various locations to prevent suspects from fleeing. The reach of the investigation extended far beyond Dubois County, with law enforcement activity reported in Orange, Spencer, Warrick, and Perry Counties in Indiana, as well as Owensboro, Kentucky.
The eleven individuals facing criminal charges as a result of the sweep include:
- Andrew D. Benales, 22, Paoli: Facing Level 2 and Level 4 felony charges for Dealing in Cocaine and a misdemeanor for Dealing in a Controlled Substance. Bond: $25,000 cash.
- Avery B. Northerner, 37, Tell City: Facing two Level 3 felony counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine. Currently held on a $200,000 bond.

- Darrel R. Harris, Jr., 35, Huntingburg: Charged with Level 3 felony Dealing in Methamphetamine. This is an additional charge for Harris, who was already in custody on a separate Level 2 felony drug charge.
- Juan Carlos Sanchez, 22, Jasper: Facing a Level 6 felony count of Dealing in Marijuana. Bond: $1,500 cash.
- Saul Jesus Reyes, 21, Jasper: Facing Level 2 felony Dealing in Cocaine and Level 6 felony Dealing in Marijuana.

- Zachary W. Hill, 47, Dale: Facing two Level 4 felony counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine. Bond: $10,000 cash.
Authorities say the cases stem from extensive investigations involving surveillance, controlled purchases, execution of search warrants, and detailed evidence review. In 2025 alone, the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office filed felony drug dealing charges against 23 individuals.
Law enforcement agencies assisting in the operation included the Paoli Police Department and the Owensboro Police Department/DEA.
The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says disrupting the distribution of illegal narcotics and holding dealers accountable remains a top priority.
Prosecutor Schroeder noted that many of those who post bond will be subject to enhanced pre-trial monitoring.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities review evidence gathered during the simultaneous searches. Further charges may be pending as the cases move through the Dubois County court system.
Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent until proven guilty through a fair and due legal process. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
