KNOX COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for U.S. 50 in Knox County.
Beginning on or around Tuesday, March 10, crews will begin lane closures on U.S. 50 near Vincennes. Lane closures will occur on Fort Knox Drive.
These lane closures are part of Phase 2 of a bridge deck replacement project over Fort Knox Drive. During this phase, eastbound lanes will be closed, with westbound lanes handling traffic in both directions. Lane closures will allow for the replacement of the eastbound bridge deck.
This work is expected to last through mid-August, depending on the weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
