LAWRENCE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of a crossover on State Road 37 at Wesley Chapel Road in Lawrence County.
Beginning on or around Monday, February 23, crews will begin Phase 3 of an intersection improvement project at State Road 37 and Wesley Chapel Road. This project is located near Bedford.
This phase will close the crossover at the intersection of S.R. 37 and Wesley Chapel Road. Traffic needing to turn left at this intersection will need to utilize the median U-turns at this intersection.
One lane of traffic will remain open on S.R. 37 during this phase of work. Crossover closure is expected to last through the end of March, depending on the weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
