Tamanthia Sturgeon, 65, of Bloomington, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at IU Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana.
Born June 28, 1960, she was the daughter of Bobby Day and Rebecca (Burch) Eads. She married Brad Sturgeon, Sr., and he precedes her in death. She retired as a secretary from Neurosurgery of Bloomington and was the owner of Living Room Center Flooring.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Bowman (Amy), and Bradley Sturgeon, Jr. (Erin); a granddaughter, Adele Sturgeon; her mother, Becky Eads; two sisters, Michelle Rice and Deneen Day; a brother, Ed Day; and her life partner Doug Perry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brad, and her father.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
