Benton County man arrested for sexual misconduct with minor

WARREN CO. – Indiana State Police have arrested a 36-year-old Boswell, Indiana man on multiple felony charges, stemming from a month-long investigation into alleged sexual misconduct with a minor.

Jesus Sabino-Alvino was arrested on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his home in Boswell. Indiana State Police troopers and detectives, with assistance from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, served an arrest warrant and multiple search warrants issued by the Warren County Circuit Court.

Indiana State Police became involved in mid-December 2025, when an ISP detective was contacted by the Williamsport Police Department to assume the investigation into the reported allegations, which occurred in late-October 2025. The investigation involved forensic analysis of electronic devices and social media accounts, as well as conducting interviews. Detectives submitted all information to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Upon review of the case, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office obtained a warrant for Sabino-Alvino, with the following charges of child solicitation, a Level 4 felony, vicarious sexual gratification, a Level 5 felony, and child exploitation, a Level 5 felony.

Sabino-Alvino was transported to the Warren County Jail where he was lodged on the above charges and remains without bail.

The Indiana State Police Investigations Bureau was assisted by troopers from the Lafayette Post, Attica Police Department, Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Boswell Police Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, and Williamsport Police Department.

Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent until proven guilty through a fair and due legal process. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict.
