Sylvia Marie Hellingreen, 47, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Born on December 22, 1978, in Christiana, Delaware, she was the daughter of Isidra Cancel.
Sylvia graduated from Star Technical College and worked as a home health aide for many years.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ilissia Ketera Martin; son, Phillip Isaiah James Hicks; brother, James Henry Deshields; and numerous other family and friends.
Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Derek and Abby George with the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care, 527 15th Street in Bedford.
