WEST LAFAYETTE — In the spirit of America250, a national mission dedicated to commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Purdue University will celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial throughout 2026 and spotlight innovative pursuits by Boilermakers past and present. The Purdue Board of Trustees on Friday (Feb. 6) was briefed on the university’s yearlong plan, which includes multiple Presidential Lecture Series events, special days of celebration, and other community engagement activities.
Among their actions, trustees also ratified faculty and dean appointments and approved a new degree, as well as resolutions of appreciation and namings.
Additionally, Purdue Global’s Board of Trustees appointed Eva Nodine as Purdue Global’s CEO.
